connecting the printer on the network via a 10base2 or
10baseT transceiver.

Make sure that if you use a Pentium Processor, that PostScript
Performance is set to OPTIMIZE FOR SPEED; otherwise set
it to OPTIMIZE FOR PORTABILITY.
Now your new driver is set up and ready to use.
Installing the PPD for Your Printer
To access your printer’s specific features (such as page sizes), you
need to install the PPD (PostScript Printer Description) file for your
printer. Use the following procedure to do this.
1.
Insert the disk containing the PPD for your printer into a
floppy disk drive on your host.
2.
Open the Windows Program Manager.
3.
Open the Main Group.
4.
Open the Control Panel.
5.
Double click the Adobe PostScript Printer icon. The Adobe
PostScript Printers dialog box appears.
6.
Locate the Drivers box and select the drive containing the PPD
that you want to install.
7.
Locate the Printer Descriptions Available box and select the
PPD for your printer.
8.
Click Install.
Note:
You can continue to install PPDs for other printers by
selecting them in the Printer Descriptions Available
box and clicking Install.
9.
Click Close when you have installed the desired PPD(s).
