The Sym Set Menu
The Sym Set menu, FONT:SYM SET, allows you to select the
symbol set for the desired font from the following list. The factory
default symbol set is ROMAN-8.

The Font Page Menu
The Font Page menu, PCL5:FONT PAGE, causes pages to print
listing the printer’s fonts for PCL emulation printing. These pages
list the font number, font ID, symbol set, whether it is a fixed font,
pitch (cpi - characters per inch), style, stroke weight, the name or
typeface, the default orientation, and a print sample with the escape
sequence. Once you are in this menu, press the Enter
↓
key to print
the page.
PostScript and Emulations
Your printer features Adobe PostScript (the factory default), not an
emulation. However, your printer has both HP PCL 5 and HP–GL
7475A emulations for the PC environment, whether you use the
serial or parallel interface.
