Installing the Windows Driver for 3.1 or 3.11
Before you begin installation, be sure to check the Readme file. This
file is in the Windows Write format and contains any updates to the
driver’s documentation.
Use the following procedure to install the Adobe Windows driver for
Windows 3.1 or 3.11.
1. Start your Windows application.
2. Exit from any applications that are running.
3. Insert the Adobe Printer driver program disk into your floppy
disk drive.
4. Choose File/Run from the Windows Program Manager.
5. Locate the Command Line box and type
a:\setup

Note: If you use a disk drive other than a, substitute the letter
of the disk drive you chose in step 3 for the a in the
above Command.
6. Click OK.
7. Click Skip to postpone viewing the Readme file.
8. Click Continue to continue the installation procedure.
Note: If the Adobe Printer Driver Setup program cannot
copy the files to the WINDOWS/SYSTEM directory
because that directory is write protected, it will alert
you asking whether to copy the files to your
WINDOWS directory. To do this, click Continue.
9. When the copy has successfully completed, click Restart to
restart Windows.
