3. Continue pressing the Menu

key if you are in the desired
menu level or press the Reset
↑
key to back out to a previous
menu level and then press the Menu key

until the desired
menu appears in the display window.
4. Press the Enter
↓
key to select the desired menu. One of the
options within the selected menu appears in the display
window.
Note: All options (which can be bottom level choices such as
a resolution or submenus) within a menu level appear
when you scroll through the menu.
5. Press the Menu
→
key until the desired submenu option
appears. If the option is not capitalized, go to step 6.
If the option is capitalized, it is already the current selection. If
you want to make further selections, go to step 7. If not, go to
step 8.
6. Press the Enter
↓
key to select the desired option if the option
is not a numeric value. If the option is a numeric value, use the
Test

key to lower the value or use the Menu
→
key to raise
the value to the desired amount; then, press the Enter
↓
key.
When selected, the name of the option changes from lowercase
letters to all capitalized letters. If you do not want to make
further selections, skip to step 8.
7. Use the Reset
↑
, Test
←
, Menu
→
, and Enter
↓
keys to select
other desired options, repeating steps 2 and 6 until you make
all desired selections.
8. Press the On Line key to reset the printer and put it back on
line, ready for printing. READY/IDLE appears in the display
window.
For example, if you want to change the printer’s resolution from
1200 x 1200 dpi to 600 x 600 dpi, do the following:
