DEP-100S displays
INVERTER OVER-
TEMPERATURE
Fault.
An inverter thermal switch
is open. (Switches
installed on Inverter Sta-
tus Interface pins 1 & 2,
and 3 & 4.)
Manifold hot:
Verify that water is
flowing through the inverter.
Manifold hot:
Water flow rate is
too low.
Manifold hot:
Water temperature
is too high.
Thermal switch failure:
Replace
inverter.
Jumper on Inverter Status
Interface, pins 5 and 6 is
missing or damaged.
Replace jumper as necessary.
Transformer thermal
switch is open. (Refer to
Inverter Status Interface in
the
Inverter Technical
Reference Manual
(WTC
p/n #M-034045.)
Transformer hot:
Verify that
water is flowing through the
transformer.
Transformer hot:
Water flow rate
is too low.
Transformer hot:
Water tempera-
ture is too high.
Transformer hot:
Transformer
duty cycle/current requested is
too high.
Thermal switch failure:
Replace
transformer.
Inverter processor failure.
Replace inverter as necessary.
LINE-BUS
Fault
DEP-100S displays
LOW POWER LINE
FAULT.
Inverter could not
provide sufficient
voltage in Primary
Voltage firing mode
(similar to AVC fault
in AC welder).
Mains voltage is too low for
required weld.
Increase mains bus up to 480
VAC. This may require upgrad-
ing welding transformer.
Mains voltage drops
significantly during weld.
Correct mains voltage.
On-time is at maximum.
Lower welding frequency
(increases available on- time).
DEP-100S displays
INVERTER BUS
FAULT.
(The DC voltage
dropped 40%
during a weld.)
Mains voltage drops
significantly during weld.
Correct mains voltage.
Inverter processor failure.
Replace inverter.
