SHORT DETECTION: (
T03300 only
) (ENABLED) (DISABLED)
This parameter can override the Shorted SCR Cycle Limit and
Welder Current Shunting setup parameters.
Setting to
DISABLE
means that NO shorted SCR conditions of any
kind will be detected. No faults will be generated.
ENABLE
tells the control to check for shorted SCRs. Refer to the
discussion of this feature in “SCR Short Detection” on page 7-10.
Danger!
Use this parameter for test purposes only!
Disabling the short detection features can
cause catastrophic failure and dangerous
operating conditions. ALWAYS set this
parameter to ENABLED under normal
operating conditions.
RETRACT MODE:
(LATCHED)
(UNLATCHED)
This parameter tells the control how to react when it receives the
RETRACT input:
•
UNLATCHED
tells the control to let the RETRACT output
follow the state of the RETRACT input. (When the input is on,
the output is ON; when the input is off, the output is OFF.)
•
LATCHED
tells the control to change the state of the
RETRACT output when the input is briefly turned on and then
off (pulsed).
WARNING!
For safety, the MedWeld 4000 ignores any
changes made to this parameter until you
reset the control (by cycling power).
