INVERTER ISO CONTACTOR OFF:
(FAULT)
When the inverter receives a firing signal from the weld processor,
it checks the status of the TURN ON ISOLATION CONTACTOR
input from the weld processor. This input becomes active HIGH.
An active signal indicates that the inverter should pull in the
charging and mains contactors.
If this input is not active when a firing signal is received, the
inverter generates this fault condition to indicate that it did not
receive the command to turn on the isolation contactor, and weld
current was not provided.
INVERTER OVER TEMP:
(FAULT)
This fault indicates that either the energy storage capacitors on the
inverter chill plate or the chill plate itself exceeded the
recommended temperature.
OUTPUT GROUND:
(FAULT)
This fault indicates a current imbalance between the two output
terminals of the regulator.
HARD OVERCURRENT:
(FAULT)
This fault is generated when the inverter detects a current of up to
10 times the rating of (at least one) IGBT transistor.
DRIVER LOW VOLTAGE:
(FAULT)
This inverter generates this condition on detecting a low-voltage
condition on one of the four drivers. The inverter immediately
performs the error shut-down procedure.
TRANSFORMER DUTY CYCLE:
(FAULT)
This fault works with the Transformer Type setup parameter.
If a transformer type is selected in the Transformer Type setup
parameter, the duty cycle is compared against the transformer’s
rating curves for Safe Operating Area. If the curves are exceeded, a
fault is set.
TFMR SEC DIODE FAILURE
(FAULT)
If no diode peak is detected in the primary current for three
consecutive pulses of the same high-frequency half-cycle phase, a
fault is set.
