Control Stop
(See p. 5-2)
The control detected
that the CONTROL
STOP input (nor-
mally HIGH) dropped
out.
The CONTROL STOP input
from the robot or program
was not active when the con-
trol tried to initiate a weld.
Check/repair ladder logic. Note
if the Control Stop message is
both DIO and Serial I/O.
The external or internal wiring
(feeding CS1 and CS2) or the
input module is open, causing
a loss of input voltage to the
input.
Check the wiring to verify that
24 VDC or 120 VAC is being
provided to the CONTROL
STOP input.
The operator or ladder logic
removed the CONTROL
STOP input.
Check and correct the cause.
Stepper
Approaching
Maximum
(See p. 5-2)
The linear stepper assigned to the schedule initiated
has started the first weld in the last step.
The electrodes will soon need
maintenance. Dress or replace
the electrodes to avoid the END
OF STEPPER fault condition.
The stepper profile is programmed incorrectly.
Check the stepper profile.
End of
Stepper
(See p. 5-3)
A linear stepper in the group # assigned to the sched-
ule initiated completed the last step in the profile.
Dress or replace the electrode
tips. Reset the stepper.
