AUX out Volume —
Entry field to control the volume of the external speaker.
Entry range: 0 to 100, where 0 means that no signal will be output while
100 stands for the maximum volume.
AF basic analyzer
The 4400 provides two different audio analyzers:
– The
basic
audio analyzer provides the most important numeric measurement
results on one menu and also offers the possibility for statistic data evalua-
tion.
– The
“AF spectrum analyzer”
provides a spectrum display of the audio signal.
The basic audio analyzer is described below.
The AF basic analyzer menu
The menu of the AF basic analyzer gives a quick overview of the
current
measurement results of the most important audio measurements. To gain access
to this menu, push the [Basic Analyzer] marker tab.
It consists of three areas:
– most of the menu is occupied by the
current measurement results
display,
– the
parameters
area provides access to the most important settings of the
“Audio frequency generator”
, while
NOTE
Codec out
cannot be AF analyzer source and signal destination at the same
time. If the selection field does not allow to select
Codec out
, first deselect
Codec in
as the signal destination of the AF Generator.
NOTE
When an external mouse is connected to your test set, you may also set the
AUX out volume by moving the volume slider up and down.
