The meaning of the entry fields
Softkeys of the corner points
menu
Corner
Point
1...8
Each of those eight lines defines the position and the limits
for one of the up to eight corner points.
Note:
In most cases, the corner points are used to check crit-
ical positions within the ramping phase of an uplink burst.
μs
The values entered on these fields define the position of the
corner points in μs relative to the beginning of a burst.
The beginning of the burst is defined as the beginning of the
first of the 148 data bits of a burst (see section
“Time slots
and bursts” on page 113
for reference).
Lower
Here you enter the minimum RF power level the mobile has
to transmit on. Any power level
equal to or above
the level
entered here will be in the compliant range while any level
below will violate the test limits and cause the entire test to
be marked FAIL.
Upper
These are the entry fields for the maximum RF power level
the mobile is allowed to transmit on. Any power level
equal
to or below
the level entered here will be in the compliant
range while any level exceeding the limit will violate the test
limits and cause the entire test to be marked FAIL.
A push on this softkey will reset the positions of all eight cor-
ner points to the default values.
The eight default values are:
-28.0 µs
-18.0 µs
-10.0 µs
0.0 µs
542.8 µs
552.8 µs
560.8 µs
570.8 µs
To reset all values for the lower RF power limit to the default
value, simply push this softkey.
The default value for all entry fields is
–150.0 dB.
Push this softkey for resetting all upper RF power level limits
to the default value.
The default value for all entry fields is
4.0 dB
.
