4.2.4.2 Transmission Devices Control
is remote, electrical and pneumatic, consisting of
the transfer box gears shifting mechanism, the transfer box differential lock mechanism, the addi-
tional power takeoff switch*; power takeoff switch*; the cross-axle differential lock mechanism
of the medium and the rear axles, solenoid valves installed on the right frame girder, pipelines and
switches in the cab.
Electric and pneumatic control scheme of transmission devices is given in figure 52.

When pressing the transfer box gear shift, the necessary gear is selected on the cab switch
board (has three fixed positions: high speed, neutral, low speed), but the gears are not shifted. To
shift the gear, press the transfer box gear switch button and hold it for 5...7 seconds, herein sole-
noid valves will supply air to the transfer box gears shifting mechanism and the gears are shifted.
