The reserve tank 8 (see figure 40) and the reserve tank 2 (see figure 41) is dedicated for
coolant volume compensation at heating, for air and steam from the coolant removal. The cap 9
(see figure 40) and the cap 1 (see figure 41) of the reserve tank has two valves. Draining valve
opens at excess pressure in the system 65 kPa (0.65 kgf/cm
2
) and blows excess steam off to the
ambient air. Draining valve opens at negative system pressure of 1.0-1.2 kPa (0.01-0.012
kgf/cm
2
).
