Inspect connection rubber crinkled and smooth chutes periodically. If defects such as
cracks, cuts, tears and etc. are detected, replace them.

4.1.2 The Engine Starting Heater System
is shown in figure 38
The truck is equipped with the automatic engine starting heater 2 (see figure 38) dedicat-
ed for engine and cab heating. Heater’s construction and application instructions as well as possi-
ble malfunctions are described in the attached Operation Manual for the heater.
The engine starting heater system provides the following modes:
I - engine starting heating (heater valve is closed);
II - common operation of the engine and the heater (heater valve is open);
