When coupling the tractor with various models of semi-trailers regulate the distance be-
tween hose clips to avoid their breakage due to friction on the tractor extensions.
Before uncoupling choose even area for the semi-trailer park.
Uncouple the tractor as follows:
- brake the semi-trailer with the parking brake;
- lower the semi-trailer support until it touches the ground, unloading tractor springs. When
it is necessary to uncouple the train on soft ground put plates under semi-trailer support;
- plug out the connecting cable of the semi-trailer wiring;
- disconnect the connection hoses of the pneumatic brake system drive from the coupling
heads (first feeding line, after - control line) and close with protective lids. Fix coupling heads
with hoses on the tractor area;
- move the accidental uncoupling interlock 2 (see figure 141) in up/down position (depends
on the fifth-wheel coupling model) and pull the control joystick until fixed, herein the locking
valve 10 will be pushed aside opening the gate hook 9;
- select first gear and drive the tractor forward at low speed for complete uncoupling of the
semi-trailer;
- the gate hook will stay open due to the spring 5.
