3.3.1 Subscription Station has the following operation modes:

OFF
”
mode.
The subscription station is in “OFF” mode when the ignition is on. Exit from “OFF”
mode is done when the ignition is cut off. Switch to “OFF” mode from other modes is done when
reserve battery is discharged.
“
ERA
”
mode.
The subscription station in “ERA” mode is tracking and recording truck parameters and
reacts to control commands of the user.
“
Emergency call
”
mode.
“Emergency call” mode is dedicated to make a voice contact of the truck user with call
centre operator and to transfer minimum information. “Emergency call” procedure should be ini-
tiated manually by pressing “SOS” button.
To exit “Emergency call” mode initiated manually, press “service” button; emergency
call will be terminated at any stage of redial or established call.
Test mode.
Test mode is dedicated to check functioning of truck communication system by “ERA
GLONASS” system operator.
To enter test mode simultaneously press and hold buttons “service” and “SOS” for 10
seconds.
In test mode user interface unit state indicator will be flashing yellow, “service” button
will be lighted green and “SOS” button will be red.
To perform test follow voice prompts. Exit from the test mode is done:
-after transfer of minimum information with test results to the system operator;
-if external power supply is switched off;
-If the vehicle is too far from the point of test mode switch (distance is specified in the
poduct settings).
3.3.2 Indication of the Subscription Station Operation Modes
To indicate the product operation user interface unit state indicator is used.
When power is supplied to the product, the indicator is flashing red during five seconds,
if the radio station is properly functioning and self-testing is successful, the indicator fades out
and the radio station starts standard operation.
If any malfunction of installed components is detected during the self-testing, the radio
station indicates need for service.
Possible indications of user interface unit state are given in Table 10.
