1.3.13. Settings of Pulse Oxymetry Module  

Control of the parameters of the pulse oximetry module (the sweep speed and averaging time of 
digital parameters) is carried out using the fields and icons in ECG module window:

 

 

 

To change a parameter, click on the display field of its current value and select the required new 
value in the window that appears after clicking.  

Default values:  sweep speed 

– 25 mm/s, averaging time - 16 s. 

 

Decreasing the sweep speed compresses the curve, to view the data over a 
longer  period  of  time.  Increasing  the  sweep  speed  stretches  the  curve,  for 
more detailed examination of the curve. 

 

Increasing the averaging time reduces the influence of artifacts on the accu-
racy of the saturation and heart rate parameters (recommended for moving 
patients and during surgeries). 

Reducing  the  averaging  time  allows  more  quickly  to  assess  the  change  in 
the patient's condition.
