measurement mode is not activat-
ed when the device is turned on
(disabled by default). Activate the mode by pressing the
NIBP button on the front panel of
the device.
High measurement error of
the capnometer Untightened pneumathic path of
the capnometer.
Consequences of moisture ingress
into the measuring chamber of the
capnometer.
Check the tightness (see it. 2.5.5),
in case of failure - contact the cus-
tomer service.
Dry the path (see it. 2.5.6), in case
of failure - contact the customer
service.
Message about the shutdown
of the capnometer due to
non-use Disconnected automatically after a
long (more than 1 hour) absence of
a breathing signal at its input. Activate again via the correspond-
ing icon or restart the device (turn
off and on again).
Message about occlusion of
the capnometer path Fatal occlusion of the capnometer
pneumatic path. Replace or purge the sampling line
(see it. 2.5.7), then turn off and
then turn on the device, in case of
failure - contact the customer ser-
vice.
Too frequent activation of the
purge of the path Unsuitable location of the sampling
line.
Unsuitable location of the breathing
circuit adapter.
Too high concentration of moisture
in the analyzed samples.
Suspend the middle of the sam-
pling line above its ends.
Position the adapter with the nipple
up.
Timely replace the lines, empty the
water trap, and, if necessary, apply
a filter (see it. 2.5.2).
Capnometer turned off with a
message about unsuccessful
drying 1. Failed to dry the measuring
chamber in automatic mode.
2. Significant contamination of the
measuring chamber optics of the
capnometer.
1. Repeat drying of the pneumatic
path (it. 2.5.6).
2. Contact customer service
Capnometer turned off with a
message about overheating 1. Air access to the rear wall of the
device is obstructed.
2. Ambient temperature is too high.
3. Fan failure.
1. Provide air access.
2. Provide normal operating condi-
tions.
3. Contact customer service for the
fan replacement.
