Р IEC 60601-1-2 and is made according to I class of protection.
In terms of the degree of protection against electric shock, the device belongs to type CF,
marked with the symbol
.
The room where the device will be installed must be equipped with a functional protective
grounding circuit and sockets with a grounding contact. In the absence of a working ground wire
at the workplace or in doubt about its functioning, the device must operate from an internal
power source.
The device must be connected to a three-pole socket outlet with an intact protective earth cir-
cuit. In the absence of a standard three-pole socket with a separate contact, grounding can be
carried out using a protective grounding wire, for which a special protective grounding pin is
provided on the rear panel of the device (see Fig. 1-3, item 5).
In any abnormal situation during the operation of the device (fire, short circuit, etc.), it is neces-
sary to unplug the power cord of the device from the mains socket.
After transportation or storage at low temperatures, before switching on, keep the device at
room temperature for at least 12 hours in a packed state.
It is
PROHIBITED
during operation:
to work with the removed rear panel of the device if it is connected to the power sup-
ply;
to remove the cover of the device and replace the fuse without disconnecting the de-
vice from the mains;
disinfection of the powered on device (the power plug must be removed from the
socket);
immersion of the device housing, sensors and cable in the liquid disinfectant solu-
tions.
During operation
REMEMBER
:
the device is intended only for visual display and automatic registration of the basic
vital physiological parameters of the patient and cannot relieve medical personnel
from the obligation of continuous physical observation of the patient;
the operation of the device must be carried out under the constant supervision of
medical personnel;
for the patient safety, it is strongly not recommended to completely disable the audi-
ble alarm;
correct selection and use of disinfectant solutions during disinfection of sensors ex-
cludes chemical burns in conditions of deterioration of local aeration in the places of
sensors and cuffs application;
if the device is used with installation equipment, it is necessary to ensure that the
locking screws are tightened and to avoid the application of excessive loads on the
device - to eliminate the risk of the device falling and causing damage to the patient
and personnel.
if the device is used with installation equipment for mounting on a trolley, the risk of
overturning can be increased in the following cases:
installing or moving the trolley on an uneven floor;
leaning on the trolley-mounted device;
leaning heavy objects against the trolley;
