3.9. NON-INVASIVE MEASUREMENT OF HEMODYNAMIC PARAME-
TERS
This option is supplied by a special order and allows to monitor the following hemodynamic pa-
rameters by the method of volume compression oscillometry:
cardiac output (CO), lpm
1.0
– 20.0, step 0.1;
stroke volume (SV), ml
10 - 250, step 1;
left ventricular stroke power, W
0.1
– 20.0, step 0.1;
systolic pressure, mmHg
5 - 300, step 1;
dastolic pressure, mmHg
5 - 300, step 1;
mean pressure, mmHg
5 - 300, step 1;
systemic vascular resistance (SVR), dyn
·sec·cm
-5
100 - 9000, step 1;
as well as additionally calculated relative parameters:
stroke index (SI);
cardiac index (CI).
3.9.1. Settings of the Channel of Non-Invasive Measurement of Hemodynamic Pa-
rameters
Before using the NCOV channel on a new patient, it is necessary to establish
the gender, weight, height and age of the patient (it. 1.3.8).
To show the channel of non-invasive measurement of hemodynamic parameters on the display,
select the NCOV hemodynamic parameters channel in the graphical curves display window (it.
1.3.5), the channel data will be displayed:
In the NIBP module window, the NCOV indicator changes its state to "on":
Indicator state: gray - off, green - on.
After enabling this option hemodynamic parameters are determined simultaneously with the
NIBP measurement cycle, and the cardiac index (CI) value is saved in trends.
Fields for setting the alarm thresholds (it.1.3.10) and
disabling the alarm sound (it.1.4.2) according to the
parameters of CI and SI parameters
