3.6. CONNECTING TO THE COMPUTER NETWORK
At the customer's request, the device can be equipped with the function of connecting to a com-
puter network for operation as a part of the centralized monitoring system CMS-Triton (supplied
by separate order).
The device can be connected to a computer network in two ways.
1. Wired connection to a computer network using the "Ethernet" port located on the rear panel
of the device (see Fig. 1-3, position 6).
2. Wireless connection to a computer network via a radio channel using a radio module in-
stalled inside the device. The "Ethernet" connector is not used in this case and may be blind
or missing.
The basis of the centralized monitoring system is the
“CardioNet” software, developed by the
Triton Electronic Systems company. It allows to view on the computer screen and save in
memory the data recorded by the device or a group of devices (up to 32 units). Full information
about the capabilities and operation of the device as part of a network is given in the corre-
sponding user manual for the CMS-
“Triton”.
Configuration of the device and its connection to the centralized monitoring
system must be performed by service specialists during installation and
commissioning.
