2.6.3. Disinfection of the Pressure Transducer Cable
Disinfection of cables is carried out in accordance with the requirements of MU-287-113 by wip-
ing them with a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide with the addition of 0.5% neutral detergent of
the "Lotos" type (it is allowed to use other disinfectants of different manufacturers, taking into
account their methodology applications).
Disposable components as part of the invasive pressure measurement system (pressure trans-
ducer, pressure measurement line, etc.) after a single use shall be disposed of in accordance
with the procedure established in a medical institution.
When disinfecting the cable by pulling it through the disinfectant sponge,
do not apply excessive tensile force to it.
Do not allow liquid to get on the cable connector pins, this can lead to its
failure.
The use of high temperatures and chemical sterilization methods associated
with immersion of the cable in liquid is not allowed for the disinfection of
the sensors. DO NOT DISINFECT CABLE BY IMMERSION IN A DISINFECT-
ING SOLUTION!
Warranty service for cables that fail as a result of improper operation is not
performed.
