3.3.5. Calculator of Kidney Function

The calculator of the kidney function is intended for evaluation of GFR (glomerular filtration rate,
or creatinine clearance) using the Cockroft-Gault formula in the adult profile or the Schwartz
formula in the pediatric and neonatal profiles.

Setting digital
parameters in
accordance with
it.1.3.10.

The patient's gender, height and weight, as well as the level of creatinine in the blood plasma
are used as input parameters.

All input parameters are entered manually.

After entering the input parameters, the calculator displays the GFR in ml / min.

Estimated GFR range: 0 - 180 ml / min.

The present calculations are applicable only for patients with chronic renal
failure (CRF) and shall not be applied to patients with acute renal failure,
where it is necessary to use the Reberg test.

This implementation of the formula is intended for use in individuals of the
Caucasian race.
