3.7. CONNECTING OF THE EXTERNAL USB FLASH MEMORY
The device can be equipped with the function of saving data (trends and fragments of curves)
on an external USB flash memory device, which is connected to the USB connector located on
the rear panel of the device, for the further data viewing on a computer.
Operating procedure:
Connect an external USB flash memory to the USB connector on the rear panel of the de-
vice.
For optimal performance, it is not recommended to use an external USB-flash
memory with a volume of more than 8 GB.
The USB flash drive must be formatted with the FAT32 file system.
Do not remove the USB flash drive until the data transfer is complete. Other-
wise, the data files may be damaged.
Click on the icon
and enter the menu for general parameters settings. Make sure that
there is a status message about the readiness of the disk for recording and click on the icon
to start writing data to USB-flash:
1
2
1 - icon for starting data recording to USB-flash;
2 - a status message about the state of USB-flash.
After the end of data recording (recording time is about several minutes) on the USB-flash,
disconnect it from the device and connect it to a personal computer.
When recording, the device creates the following directory structure (folders) on the disk:
ROOT\
- disk root directory
12FFFFFF\
- a directory with a name corresponding to
the serial number, or
MAC address of the device
12060106.25
- timestamp directory in the format year-month-date-hour.min
(in the example
2012-June-01 06:25
)
The directory with the name of the timestamp contains the TREND.CSV and SNAP.CSV files.
TREND.CSV - a copy of the
device’s trend memory in tabular form at the recording moment.
SNAP.CSV
– a copy of the saved curve fragments at the recording moment, where:
Snapshot Record:01/30 Cause:Manual record
- record header line, contains record sequence number 0-29 and
record reason or message that record is empty (No data).
Date;Time;PR[1/min];SpO2[%];SYS[mmHg];DSYS[mmHg];MAP[mmHg];RSP[1/min];EtCO2[%];EtCO2[mmH
g];T1[C];T2[C];;PERF[%]
- column headings for the readings stored in the record.
01/06/12;06:26; 75; 98;---;---;---; 9; 5.3; 37;--.-;--.-;+---;+---;+---;+---;+---;+---; 18;---;--.-;---;--.-;--.-
- a string of
values of the measured parameters at the time of recording.
ECG I 5.0mV
– curve name.
127;127;127;127;127;128;128;...
– curve counts.
Data on USB-flash is written in CSV format; to view them on a personal com-
puter, use programs that support reading files of this format (Excel 2012,
etc.)
