The heart rate thresholds for triggering messages "BRADICARDIA" and
"TACHYCARDIA" are respectively 60 and 100 for adults, 80 and 160 for chil-
dren, 90 and 180 for neonatal patients.
Types of rhythm sources determined by the device:
Abbreviation Definition
SR Sinus rhythm. At least 5 of the last 8 QRS complexes are preceded by P waves.
SVR Supraventricular rhythm. At least 5 of the last 8 QRS complexes are not associated
with P waves.
VR Ventricular rhythm. When situations of ventricular rhythm, ventricular tachycardia or
ventricular fibrillation (flutter) occur.
PM Pacemaker. At least 5 pulses in the last 30 seconds.
??? An indeterminate source of rhythm. There is no dominant rhythm or not enough in-
formation for a reliable determination.
The display of most of the messages listed in the Table can be disabled through the control
window of the heart rhythm deviation messages (it. 1.3.11). If the message is disabled, the
alarm will not be generated either,

Messages with the highest priority - "ASYSTOLIA", "VENTRICULAR FIBRIL-
LATION" and "VENTRICULAR TACHYCARDIA" cannot be disabled.
You can turn off all messages at once by setting in the arrhythmia message control window:

If any message is disabled, the device can display another message with a
lower priority.
For example, a patient has paired polymorphic VPCs with a frequency of more than 6 1/min.
The device displays the message "COUPLET". If you disable this message, then another one
appears - "FREQ VPC". If you disable the message "FREQ VPC", the device forms "MULTI-
FORM VPC".
