Advanced Copy Functions
This equipment has various advanced copy functions. Although you can use some of these functions in other ways as
explained already, you can set all of them on the “ADVANCED FUNCTION” menu.

Functions available on the “ADVANCED FUNCTION” menu
The following functions and settings are available on the “ADVANCED FUNCTION” menu. The default settings are
boldfaced and underlined.
General procedure to operate on the “ADVANCED FUNCTION” menu
Before you really start operating on the “ADVANCED FUNCTION” menu, learn the general procedure below. For the
details, see the page that describes each function.

You cannot enter the “MENU” mode during copying, printing, scanning or while you are in the basic copy setting
menu.

If you have already set some functions, you cannot do others later. For the allowed combinations of advanced copy
functions, see the page below.

The equipment has the default setting for each function. When you see an asterisk next to the setting on the LCD screen,
it indicates that you have changed the setting from the default. For the defaults, see the pages below.

When you want to exit from the menu, select “CANCEL”, if it is available on the menu, and press the [SETTING/OK]
button. You can also exit from the menu layers with the [CLEAR/STOP] button if it is active.
