3 PRINT FUNCTIONS
Configuration tab
The Configuration tab allows you to configure the drawer settings, see the version information, and restore the print
options to the default settings. This tab appears only when you open the dialog box with the Printer properties command
from the Devices or Properties folder or the Properties command in the Printers and Faxes folder. The command names
depend on the version of Windows.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, enter the password or provide confirmation. For
the details, see the Windows help

When you use Windows 7, some tab menus have a
button for the printer driver properties. To change the
properties, click the icon. If the properties cannot be changed, ask your system administrator.
1) Drawer Setting
Click this button to open the dialog box so that you can set the paper size and paper type for the drawer and bypass
tray.
Paper Size
Select the size of paper loaded in drawer. The paper size for the bypass tray is fixed to “Auto”.
Paper Type
Select the type of paper loaded on the bypass tray. The paper type for the drawer is fixed to “Plain”.
Restore Defaults
Click this button to restore the drawer settings to the default.

The “Auto” paper size setting for the bypass tray depends on the paper size you set on the equipment. Be sure to
set the paper size in the “MENU” mode.

You can use plain paper only in the drawer.
2) Version Information
Click this button to show the version of the printer driver.
