CAUTION

The MHE Venting Adapter contains a spring-loaded white insert to protect

the needle. Use caution when handling the white insert; the needle can pierce skin.

Note

The MHE Adapter has a threaded gas vent outlet, allowing an optional OD 1/16

inch waste tube to be attached. This optional gas venting tube can be used for applications
requiring hazardous or toxic gases. The pressure setting for the MHE technique is 1.0 to
1.5 bar (about 15 psi). If your system was previously used for static headspace
applications, you may need to adjust your pressure regulator.
