The following example describes calibration of the SPME tool (SPME) positioned in Slot 1,
the Headspace Tool (HS) positioned in Slot 2, and the Liquid Tool (LS) positioned in Slot 3.



To calibrate the tools

1. Select the wizard item

Calibrate Tools

and follow the dialog. See

Figure 153.

2. Press

Save

to continue in the wizard. The X-, Y-, and Z-positions will be stored.

Select

Next

to open the window for assigning the Tool parameters.

The default value of the Tool Parameter is

Not Specified

. This means that the parameter

has to be specified for the application. The definition can be made at this stage of
installation or later on during routine work. You are able to change this parameter to
adapt it for another application; note that the

Extended User Level

is required.
