User
fi
lter
fi
le structure
A
fi
lter
fi
le is a plain text
fi
le, in comma-separated-variable format. The
fi
le extension must be CSV.
The
fi
lter
fi
le contains the following variables:
Rate.
Speci
fi
es the oversampling rate (the number of samples per symbol). The
fi
lter coef
fi
cient data will
be interpolated by the speci
fi
ed rate.
FilterI,FilterQ.
Speci
fi
es IQ pairs (1 to 1024) of the
fi
lter coef
fi
cient in time domain.
Rules for Creating a Filter File
A line beginning with “#” is a comment line.
Enter a positive value for the oversampling rate.
A decimal number can be expressed by
fi
xed point or
fl
oating point. For example, 0.01 and 1.0E-2 are
both valid.
“0” (zero) and “,0” (comma zero) can be omitted. For example, “1.5,0”, “1.5,”, and “1.5” are
equivalent.
Lines with only a comma and blank lines are skipped.
Example
fi
lters.
For your reference, two example
fi
lters, Raised Cosine and Gaussian, are shown here.
Both
fi
lters contain 65 data points with an oversampling rate of 8.
