Description
The
system
provides
eight
(8),
Classes
of
Service
(COS)
for
assignment
of
outside
line
dialing
‐
privileges.
Each
system
Extension
may
be
assigned
one
Day
COS
and
one
Evening
COS.
The
Extension
COS
is
primarily
used
for
restriction
and
control
of
long
distance
dialing.
Toll
restriction
tables
allow
customized
dialing
privileges
to
be
assigned
to
any
or
all
COS.
System
Speed
Dial
is
specially
linked
with
an
Extension’s
COS
such
that
all
speed
dial
numbers
may
override
toll
restriction
programming
if
designated
to
do
so
in
Call
Handling
programming.
