THROTTLE CABLE PLAY
• Adjust the throttle cable play

as follows.
• Loosen the lock-nut of the throttle pulling cable .
• Turn the adjuster in or out until the throttle cable play (at
the throttle grip)

is between 2.0 – 4.0 mm (0.08 – 0.16 in).
• Tighten the lock-nut while holding the adjuster .

: 2.0 – 4.0 mm (0.08 – 0.16 in)

Inspect initially at 1 000 km (600 miles, 2 months) and
every 6 000 km (4 000 miles, 12 months) thereafter.
After the adjustment is completed, check that handle-
bar movement does not raise the engine idle speed
and that the throttle grip returns smoothly and auto-
matically.
