12.8 Checking the laser light localizers

Checking the horizontal laser beam (FH/
Pan)
1. Touch the 3D symbol at the top of the touchscreen.
The exposure program VOL1 is displayed.
2. Press the R key.
The diaphragm and the sensor move into the starting position for
volume exposures.
3. Press the light localizer key (B) on the control panel.
Then light localizers are switched on.
4. Move the upper horizontal laser beam by moving the top slides (C)
into the upper area of the 3D sensor area.
The laser beam must be parallel to the top border marking of the
3D sensor area. If this is not the case, adjust the double laser light
localizer.
Minimum and maximum distances apply between the two laser
localizers. If the action of moving the slide controls causes these
distances to be undershot or exceeded, the slide controls must
act in tandem with one another. In other words, as soon as the
minimum or maximum distance is undershot or exceeded,
whenever the top control moves, the bottom control must move
along with it.
If the dual laser light localizer does not respond as required,
replace it.
