sions are valid and
enabled for use.
At sys-
tem start-
up, all ex-
tensions
are dis-
abled.
Valid extensions to en-
able include any that
are not being used as
Hicom administration
ports (by default, 11,
12, 17, and 19), and
any that have not been
enabled as fax exten-
sions (potentially 23,
24, 25, or 26).
It is a good idea to en-
able a subscriber’s
mailbox right after en-
abling the correspond-
ing extension.

dividually

Record-
ed com-
pany
greet-
ings
This setting deter-
mines the recorded
greeting your callers
will hear when they
reach the Auto At-
tendant.

identifying company
greeting and, for each
language supported
on the system, up to
two customized top-
level greetings (one for
day- and one for night-
time answering
modes). Each greeting
can be 3 minutes long,
and you can change
these greetings at any
time.
