Disabling Office PhoneMail Mailboxes
In order to prevent voice-mail fraud, it is very important to make sure that unused mailboxes on
your Office PhoneMail system are not accessible. When a mailbox owner relinquishes a mail-
box, it is important that the administrator disables that mailbox. When you direct Office Phone-
Mail to disable a mailbox, it deletes all stored messages, greetings, and any configuration set-
tings saved by the user and restores the mailbox to its pre-installed condition.
Mailboxes are enabled one at a time.
Caution
There is no way to recover erased data! Be certain that you want to disable a mailbox
before you direct the system to do so.
