Enter the number of the information mailbox you have enabled, followed by the pass-
word.
Before you change this password for the first time, its default value will be 4321.

You will be prompted to set a password for this mailbox.

The password must be at least four and no more than eight digits.
●
The password cannot include the characters * or #.
5.
When you have finished entering the new password, press
.
The system will echo the password you have selected and ask for confirmation.

To cancel and re-enter the password, press
.
To accept the password, press
.
The password you have chosen is now in effect. Office PhoneMail will now take
you to the information mailbox main menu, from which you can press either of the
following:
To play or record a greeting (that is, informational message).
To change the information mailbox password:

To record an informational message (greeting):
1.
Log into the information mailbox.
2.
Elect to play or record an informational message by pressing
.
If two languages are supported by your system, you will be prompted to select the
language in which you wish to play or record the informational message.
3.
If applicable, follow the prompts to make a language selection. Otherwise, skip to the
next step.
4.
To play the current message, press
.
To record a new message, press
.
5.
At the system prompt, record your informational message by speaking it clearly into
the phone.
6.
When you have finished recording, press
.
7.
To listen to your recording, press
.
This message can be up to three minutes long; however, shorter messages are gen-
erally the most effective.
