Your new password must be at least four and no more than eight digits.
Your new password cannot include the characters * or #.

Resetting the Administrator Password
If you have forgotten your system administration password, call your Hicom Office PhoneMail
support.
8.3
Resetting Mailbox Passwords
Until they are initialized, the default password setting for all mailboxes is 4321. If a mailbox own-
er forgets the custom password he or she has created, you can reset the mailbox password to
its default setting.

To reset a mailbox password to 4321:
1.
Log into your mailbox and access the system administration menu.
2.
Elect to reset a mailbox’s password by pressing
.
Office PhoneMail will prompt you to enter the number of the mailbox to be reset.
3.
Enter the mailbox number.
Office PhoneMail will confirm the mailbox number you have entered.
4.
At the system prompt, reset the mailbox by pressing
.
To cancel the operation, press
.
Office PhoneMail will confirm the action you have taken.
8.4
Setting a Number to be Answered by the Auto Attendant
To have the Auto Attendant answer calls, program a DID number to be answered by a voice-
mail access number.
