Initializing an Information Mailbox
Information mailboxes do not take messages from callers but rather impart information to them
(such as your normal operating hours, directions to your facility, and so on). Your Office Phone-
Mail system supports up to 10 such information mailboxes.
To use an information mailbox, you must:
1.
Enable the mailbox.
2.
Create a password.
3.
Record an informational message.
If you have not already done so, enable an information mailbox (see Chapter 6, “Setting Up
Your System” for detailed instructions on enabling mailboxes).
●
To create a password for the information mailbox:
1.
Pick up your phone and dial the voice mail hunt group.
Office PhoneMail will prompt you for the password for the mailbox associated with
the extension your are calling from.
2.
Press
.
Office PhoneMail will now ask for a mailbox-password combination.
