Troubleshooting
• Symptom:
Battery does not charge (red LED on the battery does not
light up) when the charger is connected and VIBSCANNER
is switched off.
Meaning:
VIBSCANNER erroneously sends a starting signal to the
battery.
What to do:
Remove the battery from VIBSCANNER and charge it
separately.
• Symptom:
Charging process terminates prematurely (5min – 1h),
green LED lights up on the battery.
Meaning:
Deeply discharged battery.
What to do:
Switch on VIBSCANNER without the charger connected.
Leave it switched on until the battery is empty again and
VIBSCANNER switches off by itself. Then repeat the charg-
ing process. If necessary, charge the battery separately.
• Symptom:
“Battery level inaccurate” appears when switching off or
the display of the level of charge is obviously wrong.
Meaning:
Charge electronics must be newly programmed.

• Symptom:
VIBSCANNER housing is dirty.
What to do:
Clean the VIBSCANNER housing using a lint-free cloth and
a commercial household detergent.
Clean the VIBSCANNER display using window cleaner and
a cloth or an absorbent kitchen roll.
When cleaning the instrument, make sure that the
battery plugged into the instrument and the dust
protection caps cover the connector sockets.
