Signal output
Signal output
The recorded vibration signal is available at the analog
output (yellow socket). It can be tapped with the VIBSCAN-
NER cable - VIB 5.431 - and displayed on a further
processing measuring instrument (oscilloscope, vibration
analyzer,...). The signal can be listened to via a headphone
that is directly connected (VIB 6.670).
In the VIBSCANNER setup (page 22), the output level can
be set to:
‘1mV/ms
-
²’
(vibration acceleration)
‘100mV/g’
(vibration acceleration)
‘Heaphone’
(vibration acceleration/
envelope for shock pulse)
Headphones
The headphone is used to listen to the machine vibration
signal (vibration acceleration) or the bearing signal (shock
pulse).
Measuring procedure
• Set the ‘Signal output’ parameter in the VIBSCANNER
setup to ‘Headphones’.
• Connect the transducer to the measurement locations,
and start a vibration measurement.
• Put on the headphone in order to listen to the signal.
