User Guide

10. Use lens tissue and Kapton tape to fill and cover the objective hole in the underside of the

head.

11. Secure remaining scanner items.

Tape down the scanner release lever.

l

Tape down the scanner connector cable so it does
not move in shipment.

12. Prepare the shipping guard/mullet.

Note:

There are variations of the shipping guard.

l

Ensure that five pieces of foam tape are placed
inside; two on each side and one in the middle. This
provides padding and makes it slide more easily.

l

Avoid putting tape over the screw holes.
