5. Make sure the locking lever on the chassis is in the raised position.
6. Set the scanner on the rails.

Grasp both sides of the scanner and remove. Place
your fingers under the two dovetail rails as shown in
the photo.
l
Use care because the scanner is heavy.
l
Lift the scanner as shown and set it on the rails.
l
Push it in far enough so it sits stably on the rails.
7. Secure the scanner connector.
l
Press the connector into its mating socket.
l
Turn the knob on the right side of the scanner clock-
wise until firmly tight.
8. Push the scanner all the way in until it connects with the chassis.
9. Lock the scanner.
l
Continue to apply pressure against the scanner.
l
Lower the lever to the right of the scanner to lock it
into place.
