Current Imaging With Conductive AFM

Mode Master

The Mode Master panel appears when you first open up the AFM software.

If it is not present, click the Mode Master button at the bottom in the
taskbar:

Select Orca Mode
l
Load the Orca template from the Mode Master . The Orca template is located under Elec-
trical
⇒
Orca.
l
Note: the ORCA cantilever holder must be first attached to the AFM to load this template.
Load a
and sample as standard for Contact mode image. This includes any
necessary bias wires and/or resistors. See appropriate manual for set up instructions.
Set the AFM to operate in Contact mode .
Set Scan Angle to 90º.
