Declaration of Conformity
The Cypher SPM conforms to the appropriate EEC device directive for this type of instrument and
has been subject to the conformity assurance procedures laid down in the Council Directive.
The Declaration of Conformity is available on request from your local support office.
Support Policy, Shipping and Returns
Oxford Instruments guarantees the equipment against defects in materials and workmanship for a
period of one year from the date of installation, or 15 months from shipment, whichever is sooner.
Subject to the availability of components, Oxford Instruments NanoAnalysis shall use reasonable
endeavours to provide support for the Cypher SPM for a period of seven years after the date of
last production. Please contact your local support office to establish whether this product is still in
production. If your product is older than this please contact your local support office to see if we
can help further.
In the unlikely event that you need to return any Oxford Instruments Nano Analysis equipment for
repair or exchange, you MUST submit a completed RMA request form to the NA-HW-Returns
department. Your RMA request will then be processed and you will be advised of the RMA number.
Please clearly indicate the RMA number on the outside of the item being returned.
Do not return any item until you have received a RMA number.
