Océ Express WebTools
Introduction
Océ Express WebTools is an application that runs via the Océ PlotWave 750 controller. It can be
accessed on the controller monitor or on any other networked workstation. You can use an
Internet browser (Microsoft
®
Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox™) to open the homepage of Océ
Express WebTools.
Definition
You can use Océ Express WebTools to do the following:
• Send print jobs to your Océ PlotWave 750 with Océ Publisher Express.
• Access the settings to manage the configuration and preferences of the printing system.
To change settings in Océ Express WebTools, you must log in with one of the three predefined
user roles because the settings are all password protected (see
User roles and authorizations
on page 103
).
• Monitor the status of the printing system.
How to access the Océ Express WebTools
Proceed as follows to access Océ Express WebTools:
• Enter the Océ PlotWave 750 Hostname (for example http://OcePlotWave750) in the
workstation's web browser.
or
• Enter the Océ PlotWave 750 IP address (for example http://136.188.25.147) in the workstation
web browser. The IP address is displayed on the printer operator panel.
NOTE
In case the Océ Express WebTools window does not open:
• Check if the Océ PlotWave 750 controller is switched on.
• Contact your network administrator to check the network parameters. Check if the Océ
PlotWave 750 network settings have been registered in the network infrastructure.
