• When you receive individual phonebook entries (when entries are sent from a PC to the FOMA terminal (Phone)), they are
stored under the lowest available phonebook memory numbers between “010” and “699”. If data is already stored for all
the numbers between “010” and “699”, the entries are stored in the lowest available memory numbers between “000” and
“009” (used for two-touch dialing) (P. 110).
• When phonebook entries are received, if there are already 700 stored names, phone numbers or e-mail addresses, or if
the number will exceed 700 when the entries is received, a message appears saying that the data cannot be stored.
Additional notes
• You may not be able to send a file to a PC when its use as an e-mail attachment or its transmission to devices other than
FOMA terminals is prohibited, but movies and photos (still images) shot with the FOMA terminal’s built-in camera, data
received using OBEX and data imported from a miniSD memory card is sent even when “File restricted” is set in the “File
restriction” setting.
• The FOMA terminal is effectively outside the i-mode service area during data transfer and cannot be used for voice or
video-phone calls, i-mode communication, i-mode mail or packet communication.
• After data transfer ends, the
icon continues to be displayed for a short time.
• You cannot use the Multi tasking function while using OBEX to transfer data. Quit all other functions and then try again.
• Because the transfer of still images, melodies, movies and i-motion files does not conform to the IrMC standard, data
transfer software supported by the FOMA N700i is required. Still images, melodies, movies and i-motion files are all stored
in the Inbox.
• When the sent mail is mail that includes an i-
α
ppli start specification, the i-
α
ppli start specification is removed when the
data is sent.
• Frames and Flash movies are not transferred.
• Received mail folders for mail-connected i-
α
ppli are not forwarded. The mail in the folders is all stored in the Inbox folder.

Note
●
If “Write all” from a PC to a FOMA terminal is performed, all the data of a FOMA terminal will be overwritten. Note that the original data of the FOMA
terminal is deleted. The telephone directory registered in “Secret mode” and “Secret only mode”, a schedule, and the protected mail are included.
However, a frame and a Flash movie are not deleted.
