● To launch an i-

ppli DX, first set the date and time in “Set time”.
● To launch software automatically, set “Auto start set” to “ON” and specify a time in “Auto start time”. → P. 329
● If you receive an i-mode mail, Message Request, or a Message Free while software is running, “ ”, “ ”, or “ ” is displayed. To display the
i-mode mail, Message Request, or Message Free, either exit the software or use the multi-task function.
● Melodies played while software is starting up are played at the volume set in “Ring volume”. Note that these melodies cannot be played during a call.
● No sounds may be heard depending on the i-
α
ppli software.
● If you receive a call while a software program is starting up, the software starting-up is paused. You are returned to the software display when the
call ends.
● Some software programs allow you to use the Phone To/AV Phone To or Web To function from the i-
α
ppli. However, you cannot use the Web To
function from the i-
α
ppli stand-by display.
● i-
α
ppli mail used by mail-connected i-
α
ppli may not be displayed correctly in some cases.
● Do not remove the battery pack while software is running as this will prevent the FOMA terminal from saving the data up to that point.
● Images used in i-
α
ppli* and data entered by the user may be automatically sent to the server via the Internet.
*: Here, “images used in i-
α
ppli” refers to images shot when a camera-linked i-
α
ppli launches the Camera function, images downloaded using an
i-
α
ppli infrared communication function, images downloaded with an i-
α
ppli from an i-mode site or Internet website, or images loaded with an
i-
α
ppli from the data box.
● When you launch Camera from i-
α
ppli, the images you shoot may be saved/used as a part of the i-
α
ppli.
● When you launch the Camera from i-
α
ppli, image size, image quality or frame may be set depending on the software.
● You can read JAN codes and QR codes by launching the Bar code reader from i-
α
ppli. The read data can be used in the software.
● If there is no trace information, the “Trace info” option is not displayed.
● If the memory used to store trace information is full, the oldest entry is overwritten.
