Forwarding call to the Voice mail service center when

Note
●
You can still make voice and video-phone calls when the Call
forwarding service is activated.
●
If you receive a voice or video-phone call when the Call forwarding
service is activated, the ring tone specified in “Select ring tone”
sounds. You can answer the call while the FOMA terminal is
ringing. If you do not answer the call within that time, it is
transferred to the forwarding number. A “missed call” desktop icon
appears on the stand-by display and an entry is recorded as
“Missed calls” in the “Received calls” record.
●
Received calls are automatically forwarded without the FOMA
terminal ringing if your FOMA terminal is outside the service area
or is turned off. You (the Call forwarding service subscriber) are
charged for the call from your FOMA terminal to the forwarding
number.
●
Calls received while you are on another call can also be
forwarded.

●
When necessary, Call forwarding can be deactivated by a request
from the forwarding number instead of the subscriber (you).
●
You cannot accept collect calls (calls paid for by the receiver) while
call forwarding is in progress.

Note
●
Even when Call forwarding is activated, received video-phone
calls can only be forwarded to a video-phone-compatible phone
that conforms to the 3G-324M standard (P. 76). Check the
forwarding phone specifications before specifying the Call
Forwarding settings. Note also that the person making the video-
phone call sees no guidance messages (If the call comes from this
FOMA terminal, the call forwarding message appears on the
screen).
●
You cannot register toll-free numbers or 3-digit numbers, such as
110, as forwarding numbers.
●
Note that you should provide an explanatory forwarding
announcement for callers if you are forwarding calls to an internal
company number PBX, a QUICKCAST* pager or fax number.
●
If you have already set a forwarding number, you can omit the
steps for “Register fwd number” and “Set ringing time”.
●
To give priority to Call forwarding when “Record message” is set at
the same time, ensure that the ringing time set for Call Forwarding
is shorter than the ringing time set for “Record message”.
●
To give priority to Call forwarding when “Remote observation” is
set at the same time, ensure that the ringing time set for Call
Forwarding is shorter than the ringing time set for “Remote
observation”.
●
If the ring start time set in “Ringing time” is longer than the Call
forwarding ringing time, the FOMA terminal forwards the call to
Call forwarding service without ringing when a call comes in. To
have the FOMA terminal ring before it transfers the call to the Call
forwarding service, set a ringing time for Call forwarding that is
longer than the ring start time.
