<Character size>

You can also change the character size on the Mail Detail display by pressing

for 1 second or more. You can also change the character
size on the Mail Detail display or Read Out Mail screen by selecting “Character size” from the function menu. Using any of these methods also
changes this setting.

When you switch to a display other than the Mail Detail display, an enlarged or reduced display automatically reverts to normal display. When you
return to the Mail Detail display, it is again shown enlarged or reduced.

this case, this setting is also changed.
<Message display>

If the entire message body can be displayed on a single page, all or part of the mail headers may be displayed even when you select “From
message”.

Depending on the length of the message, all or part of the mail headers may be displayed even when you select “From message”.
<Auto melody play>
●
Even when you select “ON” in this option, you may be unable to play melodies sent from devices other than a FOMA N700i correctly.
<Receiving display>

When you are using FOMA terminal functions such as an i-
α
ppli, i-motion, Chara-den or the camera and you have set “Alarm preferred”, the
Receiving and Received result displays may not appear when you receive mail or Message Request/Free.
<Receive option setting>
●
This setting applies to i-mode mail only. SMS, Message Request, and Message Free are all downloaded automatically regardless of what this
setting is set to.
●
If you set this setting to “ON”, you cannot automatically receive i-mode mail. You also cannot activate chat.
●
If you set this setting to “ON”, you cannot automatically receive i-mode mail. i-mode mail sent to you is stored at the i-mode Center, and “
” is
displayed. To receive mail, perform “Check new message” or set the “Receive option setting”.
●
If you perform “Check new message”, all messages will be received even if the “Receive option setting” is set to “ON”.
Deselect “Mail” in “Set check new message” (P. 299) if you do not want to receive any mail.

You cannot receive SMS by selecting SMS.
< Attached file>
●
If you receive an attached file when the checkbox (

) is deselected, the attached file is deleted at the i-mode Center. Note that the file deletion will
not be notified.
●
If you set “Melody-valid” with check
, you can receive melodies, but melodies sent from a phone other than the FOMA N700i may not play
correctly. This setting only applies to the attached melody and image files. The melody pasted in the message body will be received regardless of
this setting.
●
If the checkbox (

) of “Image-valid” is deselected in “Attached file”, images inserted in Deco-mail or images in Speed photo mail are deleted at the
i-mode Center on arrival.
<SMS report request>
●
You can view received SMS reports in the “Inbox” folder. Also received SMS reports can be displayed to select “Disp. SMS report” from the function
menu of the sent mail detail display.
<SMS input character>
●
You cannot set this option when the message is already entered.
