Backlight function
When you open the FOMA terminal, press a key or send or receive an i-mode mail or SMS, the FOMA terminal’s backlight
comes on for around 15 seconds. (You can change the time for which the backlight stays on in “Mail/Msg. ring time”
(P. 118).) However, when an i-mode mail or SMS is displayed, the time for which the backlight stays on varies depending on
the length of the message.
The backlight does not turn on if “Lighting” is set to “OFF” in “Display light” (P. 127).
Using the function menu in the Inbox and Outbox List displays
●
You can add up to 22 folders.
●
You can specify automatic sorting of received i-mode mail and SMS into added folders.
●
You cannot delete or rename the “Inbox”, “Outbox”, “Chat” and “Trash box” folders that are already installed on the FOMA
terminal at the time of purchase.
