Changing the FOMA Terminal’s Ring Tone
Default settings Phone: Pattern 1 Video-phone: Pattern 1 Mail: Pattern 2 Chat mail: Pattern 2
Message Request: Pattern 3 Message Free: Pattern 3
You can set the FOMA terminal to use different ring tones for voice calls, video-phone calls, e-mail, chat mail and
Msg. Request/Free. You can also set specific ring tones for particular phone numbers, e-mail addresses and
phonebook groups.

You can set i-motion animations downloaded from i-mode sites or Internet websites as ring tones.
● If an i-motion that contains an image and sound is set both for the ring tone and the incoming display, the i-motion’s
image and sound that are set for the ring tone are replayed.
● If anything other than an i-motion that contains an image and sound is set for the ring tone and if an i-motion that
contains an image and sound is set for the incoming display, the i-motion’s image and sound that are set for the incoming
display is replayed.
● An image only i-motion cannot be specified as the ring tone.
